Default Idea for UW solo?

I was looking at the new skills from Nightfall and i thought of a combination that might work well vs all the melee foes in the underworld. It is the skills called Sand Shards. You can keep up this enchantment all the time and whenever you fail to hit, all nearby foes take damage. If this could be combined with Signet of midnight, you and your foe would both fail to hit on 90% of the attacks. Using Epidemic would also transfer blindness to the other melee foes. Using spirit of failure would be a lot of energy management this way, which you can use for any self-heal that is still needed when the foes are not blinded or whenever a attack comes through anyway. Distortion would also seem like a great idea to evade attacks that would not get prevented by blindess or when blindness isnt up. Mantra of inscriptions could reduce the recharge of Signet of Midnight, but then you would not be able to keep up distortion. I dont know wheter distortion is needen all the time though. So basically the skills combined would be:

Mantra of inscriptions
Spirit of failure
Distortion
Epidemic
Signet of Midnight
Sand Shards
Signet of piety (lose the enchantment and then put it up immediatly again)

16 Earth Prayers, 12 Inspiration magic or the other way around.

Additional skills that could be used for this build:
-dust cloak (enchantment, when lost, foes blinded, would work well with signet of piety)
-power drain (intterupt rend enchantments)

You need more e management than just failure, and if you were fighting aataxes i doubt that shards would do much damage to them, so you will need more damage and somthing for smites i can see it being a really good idea against solo warriors if there was more damage output. You might also need some healing in there....estherfeast? Great idea though
